If you could only make one more game ever, what would you put into it? What would you try to say with it? What would you hope to accomplish? When we made Unravel, we made it like it was the last game we would ever make. This talk is about that process – where the inspiration came from, what we tried to achieve with the game, and what our thoughts were. It’s a talk about making your own hope when you can’t find any, and about using love and empathy as game mechanics, and why we think that such things matter.
